Recently I returned from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore where I was the “Artist In Residence”. The National Park Service selects one artist per year for this amazing opportunity, and this year I was selected. I took many pictures and a few of them will be in this news letter, and others in the upcoming newsletters! Thank you to the many supporters and underwriters of the trip, and a special thanks to the National Park Service, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for selecting me!

CLASSES: I am beginning a intermediate 6 week class at Agewell services in Muskegon on November 10, 2011 at 1 PM. This is a new curriculum, covering composition and exposure in a much more rapid fashion, and then we will cover ISO, HDR, and White Balance in depth. The cost of this class is very reasonable $30 for this 6 week class. Call 231-733-8643. Remember, I also do individual classes at a very reasonable rate!

2012 NATURE CALENDAR: Next week I will be offering on my 2012 Nature Calendar. This calendar will consist of 12 new nature photographs (some from the Pictured Rocks this fall) and will be printed on 12″x18″ cardstock, and bound on the top. The photographs are beautiful and are suitable for framing later. Cost is $29.99 plus shipping (special prices on volume orders). These make wonderful gifts for Christmas! FAMILY CALENDAR: This summer I took several family groups, and now I am making calendars as gifts for the family! I add birthdays and special holidays, and all twelve of the images are suitable for framing. I can either take the pictures to create a calendar or I MAY be able to use yours! What a great gift!
